Does your Elementary school need a garden?
The American Heart Association is seeking two elementary schools in theSunnyvale/Santa Clara/Mountain View area to receive AHA Teaching Gardens.
Teaching Gardens are an exciting, new initiative of the American Heart
Association. The school receives (at no charge) materials for a complete
above-ground garden (or remodel of a languishing garden), along with an
outstanding curriculum and technical support. The school provides volunteer
power and commitment to maintaining the Garden. If you know of an elementary
school in an underserved area of Sunnyvale, Santa Clara or Mountain View,
that might be a good candidate for this opportunity, please contact Julie
