GET (Girls Engineering Tomorrow) Ready is designed to get young girls in 4th through 6th grade interested and excited about engineering. The activities in this event involve lots of creative thinking and hands-on fun. In addition, girls will learn about the different kinds of engineering and concepts important to each kind of engineering. Many of their creations can even be taken home! The volunteers, high school women engineers from robotics team The Space Cookies, will also demo their basketball playing robot!
