PTA calls for ballot measure amid grim budget news

SACRAMENTO - After the release today of the Legislative Analyst’s report that revenue shortfalls are expected to trigger further budget cuts to California’s public schools, California State PTA President Carol Kocivar issued the following statement.

“This report underscores the fact that now, more than ever, we must redouble our efforts to ensure a measure is qualified for the November 2012 ballot to restore programs that have been cut from our children’s schools.”
