Come and help support the Sunnyvale Rotary Literacy Program. Every year we pick a school in the SESD and go in to the lower grade classrooms K-3 and read a book selected by the teacher. After reading the book, we give each child in the classroom their own book to take home. The children are thrilled, so many do not have books at home to read, or in a lot of cases someone at home to read to them.
Leighs Favorite Book Store on Murphy Street in Sunnyvale, helps us purchase the books at cost.
