Jerrold Lee Shapiro, Ph.D., is a Professor of Counseling Psychology at Santa Clara University, a licensed clinical psychologist, a former Los Altos High School parent, and author of Finding Meaning, Facing Fear in the Autumn of Your Years; The Measure of a Man, Becoming a Father: Social, Developmental, and Clinical Perspectives; When Men Are Pregnant, Brief Group Treatment: A Practical Guide for Counselors and Therapists; and Trance on Trial. He has also authored over 100 journal articles, made over 200 professional presentations and appeared in popular print and electronic media.
